Banquet will be held on May 12th. From 4:30-6:00 Students ONLY will meet in the LGI for dinner as a company. At 6:30pm family and Friends may join us in the Auditorium for the ceremony! Everyone who has done shows, or been in a class with us is invited to attend.​

Senior Scholarship Application's: 
The Grand Oaks High School Theatre Booster Club offers two annual scholarships to theatre arts students attending GOHS to specifically be used to further their enrollment in a post-high school education program.  Money awarded must be used for tuition, books, or school related expenses. 

AWARD(S): Two (2) one time $500 scholarships will be awarded.

ELIGIBILITY: The following requirements must be met to be eligible for the GOHS Theatre Booster Club Scholarship: Senior at GOHS graduating May, 2023 Participated in at least 2 Theatre events (shows, musical showcase, UIL, Improv, etc.) Carry a current overall minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 Must have a 90 or higher average in Theatre Must plan to attend a 2 or 4 year institute of higher education or trade school in the Fall after his/her graduation Student does not need to be majoring in Theatre

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Please complete the application in full.  Return application to a GOHS Theatre Director in a sealed envelope.  Application Deadline: April 18, 2023. No late applications accepted. 

SELECTION PROCESS: After applications are received, they will be assigned a number to maintain anonymity before being forwarded to the selection committee. Numbered applications will be reviewed and scored by a selection committee formed by the GOHS Theatre Booster Club. The committee will be made up of a minimum of 3 or more of the following individuals: at least 1 Educator/Administrator and 1 Booster Club member that does not have a student applying for this scholarship. In the case of a tie, scholarship money will be divided equally among tying applicants.
 
ANNOUNCEMENT AND PAYMENT: Recipients will be announced at the GOHS Theatre end of year Banquet. The scholarship will be paid directly to the student at the discretion of the GOHS Booster Club with evidence of higher institution enrollment.  The scholarship must be claimed by December of the year in which it was issued, or it will be forfeited.
